Dem lawmaker slams Fox News: ‘We’re battling misinformation’

Swalwell described the incident in a tweet late Friday night time, saying constituent approached him and accused him of supporting open borders, citing Fox Information. 

“Scary. A constituent simply confronted me and instructed me I assist open borders,” he tweeted. “I instructed her that’s not true and I’ve by no means mentioned that. She mentioned ‘Fox Information mentioned you do.’”

“Guys, that is what we’re up towards,” he added. “We aren’t battling ideology. We’re battling misinformation.”
