A police officer and a 61-year-old lady have died after a deadly automotive crash occurred on Christmas Day.
The 46-year-old officer was responding to an incident when his BMW three Sequence police automotive collided with one other automotive on the A57 in Sheffield, the South Yorkshire Police stated in a press release. He was pronounced lifeless shortly after the collision.
The 61-year-old lady, a passenger of the opposite automotive, a Citroen, was rushed to a close-by hospital, however she died shortly after. The driving force of the Citroen, a 63-year-old man, was taken to hospital, the place he stays in a critical situation.
