A Texas girl was sentenced on Wednesday to 5 years in jail for voting illegally within the 2016 elections.
The Dallas Morning News reported Thursday that Crystal Mason, 43, was convicted of casting a provisional poll in 2016 whereas she was on supervised launch for a 2011 tax fraud conviction.
Convicted felons aren’t allowed to vote in Texas till they end out their full sentence.
