Russian media experiences say that gale-force winds have blown a girl off her balcony on the Pacific island of Sakhalin.
The Interfax information company reported Tuesday that the 65-year-old girl from the city of Shakhtyorsk went out for a smoke on the balcony and was blown off, touchdown on a snowdrift beneath. An ambulance could not attain the home so the girl needed to be taken to a hospital within the bucket of a development truck.
Native information web site Uglegorskiye Novosti says she fell from the fourth flooring, breaking an arm and three ribs, and leaving her with a concussion.
Sakhalin in Russia’s Far East has been hit with a collection of snowstorms since Monday with wind gusts within the space of the girl’s fall reaching about 150 kph (93 mph).
